CONAKRY, GUINEA: Today, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) delivered 100 tons of dates to Guinea as a part of the Kingdom’s annual "Gift of Dates" program. On behalf of KSrelief, Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Sierra Leone and Guinea, Dr. Hussein Bin Nasser Al-Dakhil Allah, handed over the aid, and thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership for their vital role in providing assistance to those in need in the Republic of Guinea.
The Ambassador stated that a shipment note had been signed with officials in Guinea for delivery of 100 tons of dates as a gift to the Guinean people, adding that the aid reflects the strong ties and bilateral relations between the two countries. He then praised KSrelief’s efforts to help people in need globally, and said that despite the challenges and great suffering caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had not failed to provide humanitarian assistance to many of those affected by the virus.
The Kingdom's “Gift of Dates” program is just one of the initiatives the Kingdom’s leadership has implemented through KSrelief to provide comprehensive and impartial support to people in need around the world.
