KSrelief Participates in OIC Festival in Abu Dhabi

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) recently held its Second Annual OIC Festival in Abu Dhabi. According to their website, “Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance for the United Arab Emirates, and Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, the Secretary-General of the OIC, inaugurated the event, the theme of which was ‘One Nation Unified by Benevolent Cooperation, Justice and Tolerance.’ The festival will run from 24 to 27 April 2019, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).”  The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to UAE, Turki Al Dakhil, attended the event. 
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) participated in the festival and presented Saudi Arabia’s international humanitarian work at an exhibition space which included posters, brochures, videos and documentaries on some of the center’s hundreds of projects in 44 countries. Regarding KSrelief’s extensive work in Yemen, the center’s exhibit included the MASAM project for demining, Child Soldiers Rehabilitation Project and Artificial Limbs Centers created for amputees who have lost limbs due to encounters with land mines planted by Houthi militias. 
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Amb. Al Dakhil visited KSrelief’s exhibit and expressed their admiration for the Kingdom’s many humanitarian efforts worldwide. Many members of the public also viewed the exhibition. 
A spokesperson for KSrelief, Dr. Samer Al Jutaily, will participate tomorrow in a seminar on Saudi Arabia's humanitarian efforts. ​
