AL-MAHRAH, YEMEN: Kind Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), inaugurated a Fish Landing Center in Al-Mahrah governorate, Yemen. The center inaugurated is part of the Emergency Livelihood Support Project for Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries in Yemen, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

KSrelief aims to revive the fishing sector by increasing fish production, improving the living standards and income of fishermen and their families, and all those working in the marketing, selling, and exporting of fish.

The Chairman of the General Authority for Fisheries praised the efforts of KSrelief in supporting the fisheries sector, which will - God willing - contribute to alleviating the suffering of fishermen affected by the humanitarian crisis and natural disasters.

The project is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelif, to enhance food security and support farmers and livestock in Yemen.
