KSrelief Participates in OIC’s 50th Anniversary Ceremony

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) recently participated in a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The event was held in Jeddah under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.  


HRH Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Province, inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, which included a KSrelief pavilion. The exhibition attracted large audiences. Visitors to the pavilion learned about some of KSrelief’s many global humanitarian projects spanning 45 countries around the world; the center’s initiatives cover many humanitarian sectors, including food security, health, protection, emergency relief, education, shelter for IDPs and others.


Visitors praised the Kingdom’s extensive efforts to support humanitarian action around the world.
