KSrelief Launches an Emergency Relief Campaign for Flood Victims in Ma’rib

MA’RIB, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), working with the Benevolence Coalition for Humanitarian Relief (BCHR), recently launched an emergency relief campaign to assist flood-affected residents of the Ma’rib governorate. 


The campaign included the distribution of 1,000 food baskets, 350 tents, 2,100 blankets, 700 rugs, 350 shelter kits and clothing items to provide urgent aid to 2,100 beneficiaries. 


The of BCHR’s Office in Ma’rib, AbdulKhaliq Muslam, expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts, through KSrelief, to help people in need in the area. He also lauded KSrelief’s quick response to emergency appeals, adding that the center’s field teams were continuing to distribute of emergency relief aid to all local residents affected by the recent heavy flooding in parts of Ma’rib.
