KSrelief Signs Two Executive Contracts to Treat Woun​ded and Injured Yemenis

​ RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief)recently signed two executive contracts to treat wounded and injured Yemenis, in cooperation with Al Safwa Hospital and Al Buraihy Hospital in Taiz. 

The signing occurred at KSrelief's headquarters office in Riyadh. The center was represented at the signing by Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz; Al Buraihy Hospital was represented by the hospital's Board Chairman, Dr. Najib Al Buraihy. Al Safwa Hospital was represented by Dr. Siddeq Moqbel Al Qubati.

KSrelief's Head of the Health and Environmental Aid Department, Dr. Abdullah Al Moallem, said that under these contracts, medical care will be provided for wounded and injured Yemenis inside Yemen. Each hospital will provide care of 200 wounded, for a total of 400 patients. To date, a total of 4,797 wounded and injured patients have received treatment through KSrelief's private-hospital projects in Yemen. 

Dr. Al Moallem​ added that KSrelief is keen to include all Yemenis in its health care programs, providing treatment in all medical specialties in coordination with local and international partners. He also pointed out that this initiative is a continuation of one of the many medical programs being funded and monitored by KSrelief, in coordination with the Yemen High Relief Committee (represented by the Yemen Ministry of Public Health and Population), local and international humanitarian partners to provide health care services to Yemenis both inside and outside of their country.
