KSrelief Distributes More Iftar Meals in Yemen

YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) provides support to the people of Yemen through hundreds of projects across all humanitarian sectors. During the holy month of Ramadan, KSrelief is distributing food aid to all parts of the country, including those under Houthi militia control. Aid is distributed to beneficiary groups most in need, including those suffering from poverty, health challenges and displacement due to the ongoing conflict in Yemen.

Recently, KSrelief distributed 1,200 tons of dates to IDPs and others in need in the Al Shu'ayb district of Dhale, and 3,000 tons of dates to 18,000 IDPs and others in need in the Al Buraiqeh and Dar Sad districts of Aden.

1,224 Iftar meals were distributed to patients and travelers in the Al Ghaydah and Shahan districts in Al Mahrah, and 1,836 meals were distributed to health facilities, travelers, IDPs, and poor people in the Al Wadi, Tarim, Mukalla and Seiyun districts of Hadramawt. In Abyan, 1,224 meals were distributed to travelers and public service workers in the Zinjibar, Ja’ar, and Khanfir districts.
