KSrelief Continues a Volunteer Medical Program for Orthopedics and Joint Replacement Surgeries in Mukalla

MUKALLA, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continued its Volunteer Medical Program for Orthopedics and Joint Replacement Surgeries in the city of Mukalla, Hadramawt governorate. It was implemented from 19 to 26 November 2022, in coordination with the Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population office

Seventeen volunteers from specialized doctors participated in the program. Since the beginning of the program, 420 patients were examined, and 18 surgeries were performed

The program is to perform joint replacement operations for low-income patients, with the aim of alleviating their suffering
