JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) sent today the first shipment of the Saudi Relief Sealift to support the people of Gaza Strip. The shipment was sent from Jeddah Islamic Port, Saudi Arabia, heading to Port Said, Egypt, in preparation for transporting aid to the affected people inside the Gaza Strip. The shipment is carrying 1,050 tons of food, medical and shelter materials.

The support came in accordance with Saudi National Campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. It confirms the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in extending a helping hand to brotherly and friendly countries during various crises. It also embodies the deep relations and strong kinship ties that link Saudi Arabia and Palestine.
