ABYAN, YEMEN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has delivered 30 alternative classrooms, distributed 600 school bags and uniforms for students in Khanfar District, Abyan Governorate; this delivery is for the second stage of KSrelief’s Back to School project in Yemen.

The students’ parents have expressed their deepest thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief for extending a hand to their children and providing basic educational support and alternative classrooms with the highest quality.

The project aims to prepare 95 classrooms with its supplies, school bags, uniforms in the governorates of Hajjah, Abyan, Hadramut, and Permim Island in Taiz Governorate. In addition, the project aims to provide job opportunities for low-income families (who have benefited from the previous training and empowerment projects) by making them prepare locally made school bags.

The project is part of the relief and humanitarian projects implemented by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the education sector and improve it in Yemen.
