RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: The Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, conveyed, on behalf of himself and the center's staff, congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HRH the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the royal family and the people of the Kingdom on the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
"The National Day," Dr. Al Rabeeah remarked, "is an occasion upon which we remember the challenges and triumphs faced by the Kingdom's founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, as he and others worked to unify this blessed country. It is an annual national occasion which instills in all Saudis a feeling of belonging, loyalty and patriotism – particularly in the hearts of emerging generations – values which we have been taught by our own parents and grandparents.
"This day is also an opportunity to reflect with pride upon the Kingdom's long national journey as one of generosity, from the country's beginnings until the current, distinguished era of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who has led the country towards progress, growth and major developmental achievements in various fields. The Kingdom is now living in an exceptional era in accordance with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030. The Vision sets out a road map for a comprehensive developmental renaissance in all aspects of life in the Kingdom. It aims to develop individual, social and civil society institutions, and to further develop the Kingdom's philanthropic, relief and humanitarian work."
Dr. Al Rabeeah concluded his speech by asking for God to protect the Kingdom's leadership and to safeguard the security, growth and prosperity of Saudi Arabia.
