KSrelief Honors the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development and Local Charitable Organizations

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) honored the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development and local charitable organizations that carried out its humanitarian and charitable projects abroad in 2023.

His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, KSrelief's Supervisor General affirmed the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and HRH the Crown Prince, to mark KSrelief as a giving entity that represents the proud nation of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Al Rabeeah emphasized that KSrelief carries a message that reflects the teachings of a noble religion, which urges us to help the vulnerable and assist the less fortunate. 

As the only authorized entity to receive donations and humanitarian assistance directed abroad, the center has worked to empower Saudi nonprofit associations and institutions to implement humanitarian projects abroad according to the center's mechanisms, governance, and methodology, applying the highest standards to portray a positive image of the Kingdom.

Dr. Al Rabeeah stated that the local associations have made significant efforts and executed numerous relief and humanitarian projects in various sectors that have benefited many countries. 

Dr. Al Rabeeah also expressed his appreciation for the partnership with the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development for its tangible contribution to enhancing cooperation, coordination, and integration with the center.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al Rabeeah presented certificates of appreciation to Engineer Abdulmohsen Alturki, Deputy Executive President of the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development,  His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Suwailem, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Charity Association for Patient Care (Enaya), Dr. Abdullah Al-Matrafi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zamzam Charitable Society for Voluntary Health Services, Dr. Jamil Al Atta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Falathat Charitable Society for Child Healthcare, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mashali, Executive Director of Prince Fahd bin Salman Charitable Association for Kidney Failure Care (Clana), and Mohammed Al-Muharib, General Manager of Riyadh Charitable Association for Orphan Care (Insan).
