KSrelief’s Volunteer Medical Program Provides Specialized Cardiac Care to Children in Egypt

ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT: A specialized volunteer medical team from King
Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) is performing a series of
open-heart surgeries for children in Alexandria, Egypt, as part of the center’s
ongoing efforts to provide advanced cardiac care to adults and children in
countries around the world.
A total of 18 volunteers from various medical specialties are
part of the center’s Open-heart Surgeries and Cardiac Catheterizations Program;
this team is performing life-saving procedures from 20 to 27 January 2024 in
the Egyptian port city of Alexandria. Thus far, the team has performed six open-heart
surgeries, all of which have been successful.
KSrelief’s volunteer medical programs have been carried out in
more than 30 countries and have saved and improved the lives of thousands of
people in need of specialized medical services.
