KSrelief Distributes Food Baskets in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief
Centre (KSrelief) distributed 142 tons of food baskets in Dado area of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The aid will provide nutritional support to
3,585 beneficiaries of the most vulnerable groups in the flood-affected areas.
The distribution came as part of KSrelief’s project to Support Food Security
2023 – 2024, which is being implemented in four phases.
During the second phase of the Support Food Security project,
32,400 food baskets will be distributed in August and September 2023. The
project aims to distribute a total of 105,000 food baskets (1,013 tons) in the
four phases. The project will provide support to 735,000 individuals in 37
districts from the provinces of Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa,
Gilgit-Baltistan and Punjab.
